My Story
About Me
After working in the corporate world for over 20 years, I was burned out, stressed out, and completely exhausted of all the BS that comes with corporate life and the mask(s) we find ourselves wearing. After a break away, and years of procrastinating, I quit my job. At this point its's important to mention that I haven't found one of those instagram accounts that claims you can make six figures overnight, this was one of those "oh flip" moments, how will I pay the bills, balanced with, I feel I might actually die if I stay in a job I hate for much longer. Now firmly in my 40's my desire to "do what it takes" at work and fighting for a seat at the table has been replaced with a need for a simpler life. I am not saying quitting your job is for everyone, but it does at this point in my life, feel right for me.

So why Mindful-Living?
â
Well I realised, I love lots of things, ceramics, coffee, conversations, food, so I didn't want a brand that was focused on one thing, with an ADHD brain, I need lots of stimulation! Yoga will be at the heart of this journey for now, as it gave me the peace I find in my heart today, but more will follow soon.
I found Yoga through lockdown (remember that??) and it was life changing. As someone with a mind and body that never stops, I needed to establish a practice that worked with my needs rather than feeling forced into a picture perfect yogastyle. Neither my body or mind could adapt and so I quickly established my own creative flows that enabled short moments of peace.

I hope you always feel welcome here
